Friendly countries are showing interest in the MC-21 aircraft, with discussions, meetings and presentations of its capabilities being underway, Andrey Soinov, Director of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, a branch of the Yakovlev Public Joint Stock Company of the United Aviation Corporation (UAC) of Rostec, told reporters.

"The foreign market is among our priorities and, consequently, our services are currently working on potentially supplying the aircraft to friendly countries. However, we have no more capacity through 2032, given our obligations. The interest is there, discussions, meetings, presentations of the aircraft’s capacities are underway," he said.

After the contract for the second batch of 90 MC-21 aircraft for Aeroflot is signed, the enterprise’s capacity will be fully utilized through 2032, Soinov noted, adding that agreements on the foreign market will be concluded with aircraft deliveries scheduled after 2032.
