Aeroflot PJSC (Moscow Exchange ticker: AFLT) today announces Aeroflot Group operating results for August 2026 and 8M 2026[1].
August 2026 Key Highlights
- Aeroflot Group carried 5.7 million passengers, down 1.3% year-on-year, amid temporary operating restrictions, as well as changes in the structure of traffic. Capacity previously deployed on short-haul routes, such as Moscow–St. Petersburg, was redeployed to longer-haul routes, resulting in a broadly comparable RPK despite a slight decline in the number of passengers.
- In the domestic segment, 4.3 million passengers were carried, down 6.4% year-on-year.
- In the international segment, 1.5 million passengers were carried, an increase of 17.8% compared to August 2025.
- Revenue Passenger Kilometres (RPK) increased by 3.4%, while Available Seat Kilometres (ASK) increased by 1.6%.
- Passenger Load Factor (PLF) increased by 1.6 p.p. to 93.7%, driven by a 3.3 p.p. increase in the international segment to 94.0%.
- Aeroflot Airlines carried 3.0 million passengers, down 3.5% year-on-year, with RPK growing by 2.5% and PLF increasing by 2.3 p.p. to 93.5%.

8M 2026 Key Highlights
- Aeroflot Group carried 37.4 million passengers, down 0.1% year-on-year.
- In the domestic segment, 27.7 million passengers were carried, down 4.0% year-on-year.
- In the international segment, 9.7 million passengers were carried, an increase of 12.8% year-on-year.
- RPK increased by 4.6%, while ASK increased by 2.7%.
- PLF increased by 1.6 p.p. year-on-year to 91.5%, driven by a 4.6 p.p. increase in the international segment to 92.0%.
- Aeroflot Airlines carried 19.9 million passengers, down 0.4% year-on-year, with RPK growing by 6.2% and PLF increasing by 2.5 p.p. to 91.4%.
