Aeroflot has, for the first time in its history, launched regular flights from Moscow to Phu Quoc Island (Vietnam). Flights will operate twice a week starting October 15: departures from Sheremetyevo on Thursdays and Sundays, with return flights from Phu Quoc International Airport on Mondays and Fridays.

The air route between Moscow and the popular Vietnamese resort will be operated using wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft in a two-class layout: Economy and Business. 

Phu Quoc will become the third destination in Vietnam where Aeroflot operates direct flights. The airline currently flies from Moscow to Ho Chi Minh City, as well as to Nha Trang from Moscow, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, and Vladivostok.

Phu Quoc Island, located in the Gulf of Thailand, is one of the popular winter tourist destinations. The high season at the resort, which is famous for its beaches, runs from November to May. The new direct Aeroflot flight is expected to be in high demand among sea holiday lovers.
