Russian cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov (TASS special correspondent aboard the ISS) and Sergey Mikaev will perform a spacewalk outside the International Space Station (ISS) to install equipment and retrieve experiment results.

Hatches will open at 5:15 p.m. Moscow time (2:15 p.m. GMT). The spacewalk is expected to last five hours and 27 minutes.

The main goal of their extravehicular activity will be to install a radiotelescope on the surface of the Zvezda module as part of the Solntse-Teraherz experiment.

It will be Kud-Sverchkov’s second spacewalk and Mikaev’s first.

Flight engineer Andrey Fedyaev will be on duty at the ERA robotic arm control panel from the ISS.

Kud-Sverchkov and Mikaev will wear Orlan-MKS No. 7 and No. 6 spacesuits.
