At this stage, Russia fully meets its domestic demand for geostationary satellite telecommunication services, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Bakanov said at the first Russian Space Forum.

"At this point, Russia fully meets its geostationary telecommunications demand," he said.

Spacecraft in a geostationary orbit are among key elements of Russia’s network of telecommunications infrastructure.
