Aeroflot is increasing the frequency of flights to the Maldives.
From 17 June to 29 August, the airline will operate two additional weekly flights between Moscow and Malé. Flights will be operated on Boeing 777 aircraft in a three-class layout: Economy, Comfort, and Business. Departures from Sheremetyevo Airport are scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays, with return flights from the Maldivian capital on Thursdays and Saturdays. As a result, the frequency of flights to the Maldives during the summer months will reach nine per week.
The additional flights are expected to be in high demand among tourists. The Maldives is a year-round resort destination and has traditionally been a favorite among lovers of exotic holidays.
At the end of 2025, Aeroflot reported that it had transferred its flights to the newest terminal of Malé International Airport.
