From 2 May, Nordwind in partnership with Ikar Airlines will launch direct scheduled flights between Nizhnekamsk and Makhachkala.

The flights will operate up to two times a week, utilising 110-seater Embraer 190 jets.

The flight time will be 2 hours and 35 minutes.

Currently, Nordwind passengers have access to flights to the capital of Dagestan from Kazan and Ufa. The carrier will supplement its spring-summer flight schedule with flights from Makhachkala to St Petersburg, Samara, Saratov, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Surgut, Chelyabinsk, Izhevsk, Kirov, and Ivanovo.
