Aeroflot has increased the frequency of its regular flights from Moscow to Egypt compared to the summer 2025 schedule. Fourteen flights have been added to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh.
The flight frequency between Moscow and Hurghada has risen to 19 flights per week, an increase of seven flights compared to last year. Between Moscow and Sharm El Sheikh, the maximum weekly frequency will reach 20 flights, also seven more than last year. In addition, the airline operates up to 7 flights per week between Moscow and Cairo.
As a result, Aeroflot now operates up to 46 weekly flights from the Russian capital to Egyptian cities. Beyond flights from Moscow, the Aeroflot Group will operate direct summer flights to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh from nine other Russian cities: Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Perm, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, and Chelyabinsk.
In 2025, Aeroflot and Rossiya Airlines carried more than 351,000 passengers between Moscow and Hurghada, and over 374,000 passengers between Moscow and Sharm El Sheikh. Passenger traffic on both routes grew by about 10% compared to 2024.
