Aeroflot has launched a refreshed Economy Class menu. The new meals are available on all the airline’s flights* with a duration of 3 to 7 hours, as well as on flights longer than 7 hours departing from Moscow.
Cold appetizers in the new Economy Class menu include Russian-produced cheese, meat delicacies, Far Eastern red fish, vegetables, and fresh greens.
For the main course, Economy Class passengers can enjoy new dishes made with turkey, beef, lamb, and fish. For example, depending on the destination and flight duration, travelers may be offered:
- turkey cutlets with fried potatoes, beans, and creamy tomato sauce;
- haddock with mashed potatoes, carrots, and tartar sauce;
- beef in demi-glace sauce with buckwheat and broccoli;
- lamb in balsamic sauce with potato wedges and carrots.
During morning flights, Economy Class passengers are offered a variety of hearty breakfasts:
- corn polenta with canned pears and cinnamon;
- pancakes with chicken and creamy mushroom sauce;
- omelet with cheese, nuggets, and cheese sauce;
- fritters with apple and cinnamon.
In addition, the Economy Class dessert selection has also been updated. Sweet treats now include a variety of pastries: cottage cheese and forest berries, chocolate with lingonberries, as well as apricot jam or apple and cinnamon.
