On January 30, 2025, Pulkovo presented its new corporate identity, developed by Artemy Lebedev Studio 12 years ago.
The key element of the new logo is the image of drawbridges, one of the city's main symbols. The silhouettes of airplanes are also visible in the graphics. This logo was created back in 2014, but never became the airport's "face."
In 2025, Pulkovo Airport operator decided to update its identity and invited Artemy Lebedev Studio to update its corporate style.
The result is a recognizable symbol that emphasizes the airport's role as St. Petersburg's gateway. The text is based on the civil script of Peter the Great.
The airport will also release a new line of merchandise to coincide with its updated corporate identity. It will soon be available for purchase on Pulkovo's VKontakte page.
The official presentation of the updated logo took place at the VKontakte office. Artemy Lebedev, representatives of the St. Petersburg administration, bloggers, and journalists participated in the event.
Leonid Sergeev, General Director of the Northern Capital Gateway, the managing company of Pulkovo Airport:
"It was crucial for us that the new design clearly reflect our affiliation with St. Petersburg. The logo is rich in meaning: bridges, aviation, the letter 'L'—a reference to Leningrad, the hero city. It's an image that unites history, the city, and our forward movement."
The new logo will be part of the further evolution of the Pulkovo brand and fully reflects the airport's strategy aimed at developing new services, implementing innovation, and leading the way in service quality.
