Russian Aviaton » Wednesday January 21, 2026 15:22 MSK

To celebrate the opening of the new route, a ceremony was held in the terminal with the participation of airport representatives, as well as the St. Petersburg Tourism, External Relations, and Transport Committees.

Flights will operate three times a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Departure from Pulkovo is at 8:05 AM, with a travel time of 5 hours and 40 minutes.

Flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft, designed for 160 passengers.

Casablanca is the largest city and an important transportation hub in the Kingdom of Morocco. Royal Air Maroc's extensive route network offers passengers convenient transfer flights to countries in Europe, Africa, and North and South America, significantly expanding their international travel options.

"The launch of Pulkovo's first-ever direct flight to Morocco is an important step in the development of the airport's international route network. Africa is a promising market, where we are seeing significant growth in passenger traffic. In the future, we plan to expand our operations in the region, including launching flights to Ethiopia and Algeria, as well as increasing frequencies to Egypt and Tunisia," noted Asiyat Khalvashi, Director of Aviation Commerce at Pulkovo Airport.
