Aeroflot Group airlines transported 55.3 million passengers in 2025

By the end of 2025, Aeroflot Group airlines carried 55.3 million passengers, which corresponds to the level of 2024 (an increase of 0.1%). 42 million passengers were transported on domestic routes, and 13.4 million passengers on international routes. This is reported by AVIA.RU with reference to the data of the group's press service.

Passenger turnover increased by 3.4% to 154.1 billion passenger kilometers, while passenger turnover increased by 2.7%. The percentage of seats occupied was 90.2%, an increase of 0.6 percentage points year-on-year.

According to the results of last year, Aeroflot carried 29.5 million passengers. The airline explains the slight decrease in passenger traffic by 1.8% by the dynamics of transportation on domestic lines, where the Shuttle program has been operating on the Moscow–St. Petersburg line since June 2024, under which Aeroflot flights were transferred to Rossiya Airlines. External factors unrelated to the company's operational activities also had an impact. At the same time, the production program in terms of passenger turnover amounted to 99.9 billion passenger kilometers, an increase of 6.0%.

By the end of December 2025, the group's airlines carried 4 million passengers, an increase of 0.2% compared to December 2024. 2.9 million passengers were transported on domestic routes, 1.1 million passengers on international routes.

Passenger turnover increased by 5.9% and amounted to 11.8 billion passenger-kilometers, the maximum passenger turnover (seat-kilometers) increased by 3.4%. The percentage of seat occupancy was 87.9%, an increase of 2.1 percentage points year-on-year.

Aeroflot carried 2.1 million passengers in December 2025, which is 1.1% less than in December 2024. At the same time, passenger turnover increased by 8.0% and reached 7.8 billion passenger kilometers.
