Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) has updated instructions for Russian airlines after analyzing the situation with flights in the Middle East, allowing them to fly to Israel only during the daytime until July 12, and prohibiting flights in the airspace of Jordan, Iraq and Iran until July 4, the agency reported. Flights to Qatar are now allowed.
"The new document prescribes: not to fly to/from Iranian airports, not to fly in the airspace of Jordan, Iraq and Iran," the report said.
