During the peak summer vacation and school holiday period, Aeroflot is increasing the number of flights between Moscow and Far Eastern cities — Vladivistok, Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Magadan, Yakutsk, Blagoveschensk, Anadyr and Ulan-Ude. With the beginning of the calendar summer, the airline will operate up to 142 direct flights from Sheremetyevo Airport to these destinations, and further growth is planned for July, reaching up to 162 flights per week.

By July, the frequency of flights to the most popular Far Eastern destinations will be increased as follows:

  • To Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky: On peak summer dates, the maximum frequency will reach 27 flights per week.
  • To Khabarovsk: The maximum frequency will rise to 32 weekly flights.
  • To Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk: The maximum frequency will be up to 23 weekly flights.
  • To Vladivostok: The maximum frequency will increase to 41 flights per week.

In response to high demand, larger aircraft will be deployed on the Moscow — Magadan and Moscow — Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk routes. These flights will be operated using wide-deck Boeing 747 aircraft, configured with 522 seats. Earlier, Aeroflot announced that it had increased the frequency of flights between Moscow and Yakutsk from 6 to 9 flights per week and would use high-capacity Airbus A321neo aircraft for this route.

Aeroflot is fulfilling a key government mandate by providing accessible travel options for residents across the country. For the past 10 years, the airline has been running its own program of fixed «flat» fares on Far Eastern routes. In agreement with the President of the Russian Federation, starting from May 2025, the program was expanded to cover four additional Far Eastern cities: Yakutsk, Blagoveshchensk, Anadyr, and Ulan-Ude.

Currently, «flat» fares are available on Aeroflot Group flights throughout the high summer season. From June to August, approximately 50,000 seats will be offered on all routes at «flat» fare rates. Of these, at least 2,000 seats will be available for the upcoming week. In total, in 2025, at least 1.5 million seats will be available for purchase under the «flat» fare program for flights between Moscow and Far Eastern cities.

In 2024, 1.368 million passengers traveled between Moscow and the Far Eastern cities using the «flat» fare program, setting a record for the highest number of passengers since the program’s launch. Over the course of the past 10 years, nearly 11 million passengers have traveled to the Far Eastern Federal District under «flat» fare program.
