At the 2025 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Aeroflot, MTS, and Sber entered into tripartite partnership, aimed at implementing cutting-edge technologies into the airline's business processes. The document was signed by Sergey Alexandrovsky, CEO of PJSC Aeroflot, Rovshan Aliyev, President of the Group «Ecosystem MTS», and Herman Gref, President and Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Sberbank.

This partnership designates MTS and Sber as Aeroflot’s strategic partners in its digital transformation. The parties have agreed to establish a joint team of experts to exchange knowledge and technologies. This collaboration will focus on the implementation of software products and services to optimize Aeroflot’s processes, customer loyalty management, and marketing communications. Additionally, the companies will work together to enhance the awareness of the airline's employees, passengers, and partners about the potential and risks of emerging technological domains.

«We are constantly working to develop and implement IT systems and the latest digital products within our company. The primary goal of our digital transformation is to continue focusing on customer-centricity, effectively responding to the challenges of the new reality, and meeting the needs of Russia’s largest airline for modern, resilient, and efficient IT solutions. I am confident that this agreement with MTS and Sber will enable us to create highly-demanded digital products, which could ultimately benefit other stakeholders in Russia's transport sector,»  emphasized Sergey Alexandrovsky, CEO of PJSC Aeroflot.

«As a technological leader and the largest telecom operator in Russia, MTS sees great potential in becoming Aeroflot's partner in its digital transformation initiatives. MTS’s developments have already brought substantial benefits to the company and its partners. Our experience shows that, in customer support alone, the use of digital products can reduce the load on service centers by 60% on average, saving large companies hundreds of millions of rubles every month. There are also huge prospects for implementing modern technologies in areas like document automation and passenger notification systems within the airline industry,» said Rovshan Aliyev, President of the Group «Ecosystem MTS».

«We are excited to share our technologies, expertise, and experience in developing and deploying future technical solutions with Russia’s leading airline. In 2024, the Aeroflot Group carried 55 million passengers. Improving the quality and speed of customer service in the airline industry is the main focus of our joint efforts, and we believe it will be a breakthrough. Today, technologies that support and enhance human cognitive functions are driving the development of entire industries. It is crucial that civil aviation becomes part of this transformation,» said Herman Gref, President and Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank.
