Aeroflot PJSC (Moscow Exchange ticker: AFLT) has announced its operating results for May and 5M 2025[1].
May 2025 Key Highlights
- Aeroflot Group carried 4.6 million passengers, an increase of 1.4% compared to May 2024.
- In the domestic segment, 3.5 million passengers were carried, which represents a 0.5% increase compared to May 2024.
- In the international segment, 1.1 million passengers were carried, an increase of 4.4% compared to May 2024.
- RPK increased by 3.7% and ASK increased by 0.9%.
- Passenger load factor was 88.9%, representing an increase of 2.5 p.p.
- Aeroflot Airlines carried 2.4 million passengers in May, down 3.0% from May 2024. The dynamics of passenger traffic was influenced by the transfer of the majority of flights on the Moscow–St.Petersburg route to Rossiya Airlines in June 2024 as part of the Shuttle program launch. Passenger traffic of Rossiya Airlines increased by 12.3% year-on-year, including a 16.6% increase on domestic routes. Thus, for the Group as a whole, passenger traffic on domestic routes remains at the level of May 2024.

5M 2025 Key Highlights
- Aeroflot Group carried 20.6 million passengers, which is 2.1% more than in the same period of 2024.
- In the domestic segment, Aeroflot Group carried 15.5 million passengers, an increase of 1.5% year-on-year.
- In the international segment, 5.1 million passengers were carried, an increase of 4.3% year-on-year.
- RPK increased by 3.7% and ASK increased by 2.8% within the Group.
- Passenger load factor amounted to 89.0%, an increase of 0.8 p.p. year-on-year.
- Aeroflot Airlines carried 11.1 million passengers, which is comparable to the same period in 2024, while RPK increased by 7.7%.
