Aeroflot to launch national gastronomic sets on flights from Far East and Siberia cities

Aeroflot is launching national gastronomic sets on flights departing from cities in the Far East and Siberia. These unique dishes, rich in local flavors, will be available to Business Class passengers for lunch and dinner. Each set has been created in collaboration with local chefs and suppliers to highlight the gastronomic traditions of these regions while featuring locally sourced ingredients.

Far Eastern sets can be tried on Aeroflot's own flights from Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The dishes showcase traditional regional ingredients, including seafood and forest produce, blending Asian and Russian culinary influences. Passengers can enjoy dishes made with Kamchatka crab, Sakhalin seafood, fern, and a variety of marinades, sauces, and spices.

The Siberian sets are available on Aeroflot’s own flights from Krasnoyarsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk, and with plans to introduce them on flights from Irkutsk in the near future. The Siberian set embodies the natural richness and restrained northern spirit of the region. The menu features muksun fish, omul, wild berries, pine nuts, as well as farm-raised meats and game.

Aeroflot, being the largest Russian airline, places great emphasis on supporting local producers and celebrating the country’s multicultural heritage. These new culinary sets offer passengers a unique opportunity to experience the distinct and diverse culinary traditions of Russia's regional kitchens. Earlier, the airline announced that 90% of the food and beverages served on board are sourced from Russian producers, and the share of domestic wines has increased to 70% over the past year.
