Plane flying from St. Petersburg to Kirov makes emergency landing in Moscow

A flight en route from St. Petersburg to Kirov made an emergency landing at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport due to a problem with its hydraulic system, a spokesman for emergencies services told TASS.

"A Boeing-738 making a flight from St-Petersburg to Kirov landed at Sheremetyevo due to a pressure loss in its hydraulic system," the spokesman said, adding that the plane landed safely.

The flight operator, Pobeda Airlines, said later that the pilot of flight DP513 made a decision to land in Moscow after a hydraulic system gauge signaled a malfunction. The passengers will be transferred on to a different plane which will take them to their destination.
