El Al resumes flights from Tel Aviv to Moscow since May 1

 The Israeli air carrier El Al resumes scheduled flights from Tel Aviv to Moscow from May 1, the Israel’s Ministry of Tourism told TASS.

"On May 1, 2025, the Israeli national airline El Al restarts the scheduled air service en route Tel Aviv - Moscow. Flights will be made seven days per week from the Domodedovo Airport. One daily departure is scheduled from Monday to Wednesday and two flights per day will be on Sunday and Thursday. Flights will be made by Boeing 737-900 aircraft. The travel time will be five hours," the ministry said.

Flights between Israel and Russia are also being made at present by Russian air carriers Red Wings and Azimuth, the ministry added.

"The air service between Israel and Russia is gradually reaching the earlier pre-pandemic level. Tourists have a broad choice appeared for the price, the time and the date of departure. We expect growth of air transportation between Russian and Israeli cities in the near time," department director of the ministry Vladimir Shklyar said.
