“Nordwind Airlines plans to carry more than 43,000 passengers from Volgograd in 2025. In early April, we are launching direct flights to such popular tourist destinations as Sochi and Kaliningrad. The customer demand is already evident: more than 30% of seats on April flights to Sochi have already been sold. Half of the tickets for flights to Kaliningrad for April–June have also been booked, with some 77% booked for the May holidays. In turn, we expect that 90% of seats on the Volgograd–Kazan flight will be filled, while the share of transfers via the capital of Tatarstan has reached10%,” says Alexandra Galikbarova, Head of Sales Organisation.

“Last year, the airport's passenger traffic reached its record high of more than 1.68 million people. In 2025, we plan to maintain the key indicators of our cooperation with the main partner airlines in terms of the number of passengers and routes. Furthermore, we are working with a number of airlines and regions to arrange subsidised flights to new destinations with the support of such regions,” said Denis Gorkovenko, Chief Commercial Officer of Volgograd Airport.
