Cosmonaut Sergey Krikalev has been appointed Deputy Director General of Roscosmos for Manned and Automated Complexes, according to the corporation's press service.

"The Supervisory Board of Roscosmos State Corporation has agreed on appointments to senior positions in the state corporation: Sergey Krikalev - to the position of Deputy Director General for Manned and Automated Complexes of Roscosmos State Corporation," the statement reads.

It notes that the head of the Progress rocket and space center in Samara (part of Roscosmos) Dmitry Baranov was appointed Deputy Director General for Industry Development.
