New Turkish low-cost airline AJet has launched flights from Pulkovo to Istanbul

Russian Aviaton » Sunday March 16, 2025 18:39 MSK

During the spring and summer, AJet will operate daily flights to Sabiha Gokcen Airport. As part of the winter schedule, the carrier will operate four flights a week from St. Petersburg to Istanbul: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

“We are pleased that Ajet has launched direct flights from Istanbul to St. Petersburg. Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines have previously flown to St. Petersburg. The new AJet flight is a great addition,” said Özgün Talu, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in St. Petersburg.

“AJet is an airline that offers low-cost flights between Istanbul and St. Petersburg. From Istanbul, passengers can fly to all over the world. The airline is developing its route network from Sabiha Gokcen Airport. I hope that this flight will be very useful for the residents of St. Petersburg,” said Asiyat Khalvashi, Director of Aviation Commerce at Northern Capital Gateway (operator of Pulkovo Airport).

AJet offers short connections via Istanbul to cities in Turkey and Europe. Passengers can also fly with a transfer to countries in the Middle East. The launch of the new airline's flight to Istanbul will expand the opportunities for passengers from St. Petersburg to discover new routes around the world.
