Nordwind and Belavia to operate joint flights

Russian Aviaton » Tuesday March 11, 2025 18:43 MSK

Starting 11 March, Nordwind Airlines and Belavia will operate under a codeshare agreement, with tickets for flights of both carriers on certain routes available in a single booking.

Now passengers from Novokuznetsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo, Ulan-Ude, Irkutsk, Tomsk, Omsk, Ufa, Tyumen, Gorno-Altaysk, Magnitogorsk, Makhachkala, Krasnoyarsk, Bishkek, and Khujand can fly to Minsk via Kazan and St Petersburg.

In turn, passengers from Belarus will be able to take advantage of Belavia flights from Minsk to Kazan and St Petersburg before using Nordwind's route network to reach cities of Siberia and the Urals.

«The cooperation between our airlines will expand travel opportunities and provide attractive fares for passengers. Thanks to Nordwind Airlines' established connection models in Kazan and St Petersburg, passengers from various Russian regions will be able to enjoy comfortable flights to the capital of Belarus with an optimal layover in one of our hubs. We look forward to seeing passengers on board and wish them pleasant flights,», said Anton Mattis, Deputy CEO of Nordwind Airlines.

«It is obvious that the new agreement offers our passengers more travel opportunities, convenience and additional peace of mind,» said Igor Cherginets, CEO of Belavia. «People will not have to examine the airlines’ schedules in search of suitable connections, worry about the check-in time during the connection, as the single ticket implies a ‘pass-through format’... We can see a considerable demand for flights from Belarus to the cities covered by the agreement, and thanks to the cooperation between our airlines, this demand will be satisfied».
