Eighty-three flights landed at alternate airports when a number of Russian airports were closed for arrivals amid a massive drone attack this morning, the Russian ministry of transport told TASS.
"This morning, airports in Moscow and adjacent regions were closed for departures and arrivals for more than four hours for security reasons. Eighty-three flights landed at alternate airports - the crews and air traffic controllers demonstrated a quick reaction to the changed situation," it said.
