Pulkovo Airport Wins Russia's Air Gate 2025 Award

The Northern Capital Gateway Company was recognized as one of the best airports in Russia and was awarded the nomination "Best Airport of the Year among cities of federal significance" (3rd prize). The award was received by the Deputy General Director, Chief Operating Officer of the Pulkovo airport operator Andrey Drobovich.

The award ceremony took place as part of the official opening of the XII National Exhibition and Forum of Civil Aviation Infrastructure NAIS 2025.

In 2024, Pulkovo Airport served 20.9 million passengers, setting a record in its history. A unique passenger and transport flow control center was opened in the terminal, thanks to which it is possible to provide pre-flight services in 30 minutes instead of 1.5 hours, the number of check-in counters was increased. Russian electronic turnstiles for scanning boarding passes before the boarding gate began operating. The airfield equipment fleet was replenished with new vehicles of responsible production. International traffic increased by 24%.
