Latest air traffic control system undergoes testing at Vorkuta Airport

The latest Sintez-AR3 automatic air traffic control system based on the most advanced technological principles and featuring a completely domestic product is undergoing testing at the air control center of Vorkuta Airport in Russia’s north, Almaz-Antey representative Vitaly Repin told TASS at the NAIS 2025 national aviation infrastructure show.

"The Sintez-AR3 automatic air traffic control system is designed to gather, analyze and display air traffic surveillance and flight plan data, aeronavigational and meteorological information for the purposes of air traffic services provided at the regional, air nodal and aerodrome levels. The system is currently undergoing certification tests at the aerodrome air traffic control center of Vorkuta Airport," the company’s representative said.

The system incorporates the latest air traffic surveillance data processing solutions, Almaz-Antey stressed.

"The system is the latest innovation in the Sintez air traffic control technology, is based on the most advanced technological principles and is a completely domestic product. It is a scalable solution incorporating the latest achievements in the sphere of air traffic surveillance and flight plan data processing, features an improved air control interface allowing air controllers to address the tasks of air traffic control more effectively," the Almaz-Antey representative said.
