In 2024, Aeroflot returned to its passengers about 6 thousand items forgotten on planes and unclaimed at baggage claim, most often outerwear, gadgets, glasses and books to the airline's storage rooms. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the carrier.
"The number of items received amounted to more than 18.3 thousand, of which 6 thousand were transferred to the passengers who applied. Most often, items of outerwear are left behind – scarves, hats, caps, as well as electronic devices, glasses, and books. It happened that flight attendants found dentures, mismatched shoes, baby pots, hearing aids and individual toilet seats," the press service said.
