Aeroflot is expanding its program of direct flights to the Chinese resort of Sanya (Hainan Island, China) from the regions of Russia. The airline opens flights from Kazan, St. Petersburg and Ufa. Ticket sales are open. This is reported by AVIA.RU .

Flights from Kazan will start on March 21. Departure from the capital of Tatarstan on Fridays, return flight on Mondays. From March 31, a second weekly flight will be added, departing from Kazan on Mondays and returning on Fridays.

Flights from St. Petersburg will begin on March 22. Flights will be operated back and forth on Saturdays. From April 1, a second weekly flight will be added, departing from the Northern Capital on Wednesdays and returning on Tuesdays.

Flights from Ufa will begin on March 23. Flights will be operated there and back on Sundays. Starting from April 3, a second weekly flight on Thursdays will be added.

The air lines will use Airbus A330 aircraft with a two-class cabin layout: business and economy.

The airline notes that with the opening of new flights, Aeroflot Group offers direct flights to Hainan Island from 9 Russian cities.: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Ufa, Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk.

In 2024, Aeroflot and Rossiya Airlines transported more than 210 thousand passengers on flights to and from Sanya.
