Russia is discussing joint design and production of fifth-generation fighter jets with foreign partners, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev told TASS at IDEX show.

"Projects are discussed for joint design and production of fifth-generation aircraft, adaptation of the latest Russian guided missiles to the aircraft of partner countries. Assistance is planned in the construction of overhaul and maintenance centers for armor and air defense means," he said.

All the displayed exhibits meet the expectations of partners in the degree of adaptation to new realities and enjoy good prospects in the Middle East, he added.
