The Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) will for the first time display UTS-800 new export option of the trainer at IDEX show in Abu-Dhabi.
"The world debut of the export mockup option is scheduled at the Russian display at IDEX 2025 show", the company said.
UTS-800 was designed for primary training and selection of pilots. It trains flying the aircraft, navigation, extreme situations, flying by devices and in a group. UTS-800 has two pilots seating in a tandem. The cadet is in the front cockpit and the instructor behind. The jet can be piloted by one man without aircraft alignment.
"UTS-800 trainer has good tactical and technical characteristics and is unified in ergonomic components with Russian combat jets. UTS-800 simplifies the training of pilots in countries that order Russian aircraft. The aircraft can be adapted to concrete mechanisms at customer request depending on the acquisition volume," it said.
