Aeroflot joined the Platinum Group in the Forbes ranking of the best employers in Russia. Experts evaluated domestic companies according to the main elements of the ESG agenda: "Ecology", "Employees and society", "Corporate Governance". This is reported by AVIA.RU .
Analysts of the reputable business publication noted that "from 2022 to 2024, the Aeroflot Group reduced specific CO2 emissions by 10% (to 74.5 g per passenger-kilometer) and fuel consumption (to 23.6 g)." It was taken into account that in 2024, the airline's labor costs increased by 28.9%, as well as increased investments in environmental projects. In addition, Aeroflot was one of the first companies in the industry to establish a fixed 50% discount for children aged two to 12 on flights across Russia.
Aeroflot has become the only company in the Russian transport industry to receive the highest platinum status.
