Starting October 25, Aeroflot is introducing refreshed children’s meals and travel kits on board. The date was chosen for a reason — it marks the start of the autumn school holidays in most Russian schools.

Children’s special meals can be pre-ordered* free of charge in all travel classes. Children will receive colorful meal boxes featuring a balanced and tasty selection of dishes. The new menu was developed by Aeromar chefs Alexander Lisitsyn and Ruslan Mutaliev. Both chefs are parents themselves, and therefore approached the creation of the dishes with special care, love, and attention. When developing the new children’s menu, Alexander and Ruslan were inspired by the principle of using natural ingredients: fresh vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins, as well as foods that children enjoy and parents consider healthy.

In Economy and Comfort Class, depending on the flight route, young travelers can enjoy turkey and cream cheese rolls, sandwiches, pancakes, and mini fritters with natural jam and chocolate, chicken meatballs with mashed potatoes, or penne pasta with Bolognese sauce. Dessert options include jelly made from natural fruits, fresh fruits, cottage cheese desserts, and fruit purée.

The Business Class menu includes chicken fillet, turkey, farm-fresh cheeses, quail eggs, fresh vegetables, all-natural sausages, nuggets, cottage cheese fritters, ice cream, colorful jelly with fresh berries, fresh berries, and an assortment of fruits such as mango, kiwi, grapes, and pineapple.

In addition to the new menu, passengers aged 3 to 11 years in all travel classes will receive updated complimentary children’s travel kits. On flights departing from Moscow, kids will be given transformer backpacks, while on return flights they will receive transformer bags — both of which can be taken home and used after the flight. Depending on flight duration, children will receive different sets of items: a fun activity magazine, mini games that encourage imagination and creativity, branded stationery, and souvenirs from Aeroflot.

The comfort of young passengers is one of Aeroflot’s key service priorities. Earlier, the airline reported that it carried more than half a million children over the summer season with a 50% discount on tickets.
