Aeroflot has announced the results of its flight program via Saint Petersburg for 2024. Airlines within the Group (Aeroflot, Rossiya Airlines, Pobeda Airlines) carried over 11.1 million passengers through Pulkovo Airport, a 5% increase compared to the previous year. More than 10.3 million passengers flew on domestic routes (+3%), while international traffic through Saint Petersburg grew by 40%, with 804 000 passengers served.
Rossiya Airlines carried the largest share of passengers. In 2024, the airline's passenger flow to Saint Petersburg reached 6.7 million, reflecting a 28% increase compared to 2023.
On June 1, 2024, Aeroflot launched its high-frequency «Shuttle» program between Moscow and Saint Petersburg. From June to December, more than 2.2 million passengers traveled on these flights, a 28% increase compared to 2023 on the Moscow-Saint Petersburg route. Overall, the airlines within the Group served over 4 million passengers between Moscow and Saint Petersburg, a 20% increase from the previous year.
