Aeroflot has announced the fastest-growing destinations by number of passangers transported for 2024. The statistics are based on Aeroflot’s own flights and Rossiya Airlines flights, operated under the SU code.
Routes from Aeroflot Group’s Siberian hub have shown an annual high for passenger traffic in 2024. This includes a 140% increase in the number of carried passengers between Krasnoyarsk and Ekaterinburg, as well as 187% increase between Krasnoyarsk and Tashkent.
Among the leaders of the domestic network are destinations from Sheremetyevo Airport to Penza, Grozny, Kirovsk, Kemerovo and Kaliningrad. Additionaly, in 2024, passangers flew significantly more between Sochi and Chelyabinsk, Sochi and Ekaterinburg, Moscow and Gorno-Altaysk, Moscow and Chelyabinsk.
International destinations have shown the most intense passanger traffic growth on routes between Moscow and Guangzhou, Moscow and Sharm El Sheikh, Moscow and Karaganda, Saint Petersburg and Dubai, Moscow and Colombo, Moscow and Bodrum, Krasnoyarsk and Almaty.
