Northern Capital Gateway (managing Pulkovo Airport) and the IBS Group have signed a strategic partnership agreement in the field of digital transformation. The parties will join forces in import substitution and the creation of domestic ERP solutions.
The agreement was signed within the framework of the II International Forum of Digital Technologies in Transport and Logistics “Digital Transportation – 2024”.
Pulkovo was recognized as an innovation leader in the aviation industry according to the NAIS awards in 2024. In 2023, the airport served 20.4 million passengers, becoming the second busiest in the country and the only airport with an annual passenger traffic of over 15 million people, exceeding the 2019 figures. Since 2010, Pulkovo's main operator has been Northern Capital Gateway, which, on the basis of a public-private partnership, manages the airport and its reconstruction and development project.
IBS and Pulkovo Airport plan to cooperate in the following areas:
- ensuring import substitution and digital sovereignty in the air transport industry;
- accelerating the implementation of Russian digital solutions;
- implementation of projects of the industry strategy for digital transformation and fulfillment of adopted plans for digital transformation;
- development of methodologies and approaches to replicating successful practices of import substitution, implementation of AI and digital technologies in the air transport industry;
- increasing the commercial efficiency and safety of passenger and freight transportation;
- increasing the flexibility of operational management systems and ensuring the growth of digital culture.

This cooperation is aimed not only at ensuring the operation of a large aviation enterprise, but also at additional optimization of processes. The replacement of previously used solutions actually gave impetus to launch the automation of a number of tasks. At the same time, the integration project is being implemented in a short time frame - 1 year, and our partner maintains the set pace and volume of work," noted Olga Korochkina, Chief Financial Officer of Northern Capital Gateway LLC.
