Aeroflot to launch direct flights from Moscow to Denpasar

Aeroflot opens direct scheduled flights from Moscow to Denpasar (Bali, Indonesia) starting from September 17. Ticket sales are open.

Services will be operated according to the following schedule (local time is indicated):

• Flight SU296 departs from Moscow (Sheremetyevo) on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 14:40.

• The return flight SU297 departs from Denpasar on Wednesdays and Sundays at 10:05.

From October 3, a third weekly flight, departing from Moscow on Thursdays and returning on Fridays will be added.

The flights will be operated on modern wide-body Airbus A350 liners in a three-class cabin layout: Business (28 seats), Comfort (24 seats) and Economy (264 seats). The aircraft is characterized by an increased level of comfort. A unique lighting system is provided on board with the possibility of changing the color scheme depending on the stage of the flight. All service classes have a modern in-flight multimedia entertainment system. In Economy and Comfort classes, the distance between the seats and the backrest angle have been increased. The spacious interior, reduced noise levels and adaptive lighting create an exceptionally comfortable environment on board. The interior of the Business class cabin is unique: it has armchairs that fold out into a two-meter bed. The chairs are located in individual cabin suites, allowing the passenger to fully experience the possibilities of personal space and privacy. In each cabin in the Business class, individual monitors with a size of 54 cm are installed. Another feature of the cabin is the bar with a wide range of drinks and snacks.

In 2020, air traffic between Moscow and Denpasar was discontinued due to the coronavirus pandemic. On July 31, 2024, in Moscow at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said that he considered it possible to resume Aeroflot flights to Bali. This was preceded by the coordinated work and joint efforts of Aeroflot, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Embassy of Indonesia in the Russian Federation and the Russian-Indonesian Business Council over the past year.

The up-to-date schedule is available on Aeroflot’s website.
