Aeroflot reveals the most popular domestic destinations in the first half of 2024. In these six months, the airline carried a record 9.8 million passengers on its own flights in Russia, which is 26% more than in the first half of 2023 and 15% more than in January-June of the pre-pandemic 2019, when passenger traffic amounted to 8.5 million.

Record-breaking passenger traffic in the modern history of Aeroflot have been figured in all these directions. After the covid period and the introduction of sanctions restrictions, Aeroflot has consistently increased the volume of air traffic in Russia, contributing to the development of domestic tourism and business activity between the subjects of the Russian Federation. The total number of passengers transported on our own domestic flights in the first 6 months of 2022 amounted to 6.3 million, in 2023 — 7.8 million, in 2024 — 9.8 million.
In this June, the airline opened its own flights to three new destinations: Moscow — Cheboksary, Moscow — Elista and Krasnoyarsk — Yekaterinburg. During the first month of flights, 8,136 passengers were transported between Moscow and Cheboksary (seat occupancy was 88%), 4,223 passengers between Moscow and Elista (seat occupancy was 95%), 3,933 passengers between Krasnoyarsk and Yekaterinburg (seat occupancy was 96%)
