Passenger traffic on Russian airlines in May increased by 6.8% compared to May 2023 and reached 9.3 mln people, according to the Federal Air Transport Agency.
"According to preliminary data from the Federal Air Transport Agency, passenger traffic of Russian airlines in May increased by 6.8% compared to the same month in 2023 to 9.3 mln people," the statement said.
The top five largest air carriers included Aeroflot, Pobeda, S7, Rossiya, and Ural Airlines, which together transported 6.4 mln people, 10% more than the year before.
