Izhavia intends to add eight MC-21 airplanes to its fleet by the end of 2032, the carrier's CEO Alexander Sinelnikov said. This is reported by TASS.
"Finally signed an agreement of intent between JSC Izhavia and PJSC Yakovlev for the delivery of 8 MC-21-310 aircraft in the period 2029 - 2032," Sinelnikov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Now the company's fleet of airplanes is represented by Yak-42D and Boeing 737-800.
In February 2024, the head of Rostec Sergey Chemezov said that serial production of MC-21 airplanes may begin in 2025 - 2026.
