Aeroflot Technics has opened a linear maintenance station at Astrakhan Airport

Aeroflot Technics, an aircraft maintenance and repair provider (part of the Aeroflot Group), has opened a linear maintenance station (LMS) at Astrakhan Airport.

The Astrakhan station have successfully passed certification procedures to perform daily forms of operational maintenance and defect elimination. The station is equipped with a modern material and technical base and is staffed by highly qualified specialists.

The maintenance station will provide technical support for flights in the Aeroflot Group interests. In accordance with the certificate received, the engineering and technical staff of the linear station will carry out operational maintenance of Airbus А320CEO/NEO and Boeing 737NG.

The new linear station expands Aeroflot Technics geographical presence across Russian regions among with the similar stations in Kazan, Nizhniy-Novgorod, Saratov, Ufa and will be fifth in a row in Povolzhye. The total number of provider’s LMS in the country has reached 20. Aeroflot Technics currently has the largest network of linear stations in Russia among aircraft maintenance and repair companies.
