The airport summed up the results of the federal competition "Young Design", where students and graduates of specialized universities and colleges presented concepts for merch for the airport - more than 400 ideas in total. Prizes were presented to the best by the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Kirill Polyakov, the General Director of the Pulkovo airport operator Leonid Sergeev and the curator-mentor from SPbGUPTD Angelina Ilyina.

The winners were: Ksenia Akulina with the project "St. Petersburg with the letter "P" - 1st place, Yulia Balakina with the project "Ticket to St. Petersburg" - 2nd place, Alina Basankina with the project "Become a part of St. Petersburg" - 3rd place.

Special nominations were awarded to: Irmilia Pushkareva for the development of a children's manual - "To Children with Love", Irina Pen with the project "Traveling Writers" - "For the idea and execution".

Pulkovo strives to support young people and provide talents with an opportunity to make a name for themselves. The winners will receive cash prizes, and their ideas will be considered for implementation under the airport's own brand.

The "Young Design" project is being implemented using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation, provided by the Presidential Grants Fund, with the support of the St. Petersburg Administration. More than 4,000 applications were submitted to the competition from students of 147 universities and colleges from more than 70 cities in Russia.
