Leonardo booking system’s functionality restored

Complications in operations of the Leonardo air tickets booking system were observed amid a global failure in Russian digital services and the system now works normally, the state corporation Rostec told TASS.

"In view of the global failure in the operation of Russian digital services, difficulties were also observed in operation of the Leonardo air tickets booking system. In particular, there were failures in reissuing and returning tickets. No problems were noted with registration of air passengers. Measures were taken to restore functioning of all the services as soon as possible. The system now operates normally," Rostec said.

Aeroflot airline said earlier that the issue and the return of tickets and provision of extra services in all sales channels were temporarily complicated in view of the global failure in the Leonardo tickets.
