Aeroflot announces changes in management of the Group’s technical provider. Marat Tereschenko will be appointed as the new CEO of the provider «Aeroflot Technics», replacing Mikhail Korobovich, who was leading the company since its founding in 2015.
«On behalf of the entire Aeroflot management team, I would like to highlight the crucial role of Mikhail Korobovich in consolidating the technical service and aircraft maintenance functions and resources within the Aeroflot Group, — emphasized Aeroflot CEO Sergey Alexandrovsky. — Over the past nine years, a challenging path has been traversed in creating and establishing the largest technical aviation provider in Eastern Europe. This period involved numerous complex challenges, including ensuring aircraft maintenance and repair (MRO) during pandemic, and later in the context of unprecedented sanctions by unfriendly governments. A large-scale transformation of the technical service system within the Aeroflot Group was carried out, new hangars and line maintenance station (LMS) were commissioned, and the provider’s competence and certification in the repair of western aircraft were significantly expanded. Mikhail Yurievich’s enormous personal contribution and professionalism have always been a guarantee of successful implementation of the tasks set.»

Starting from December 1, the new CEO of «Aeroflot Technics» Marat Tereschenko, will begin implementing the company’s further developing strategy, aimed at improving unique competencies of the personnel, expanding the provider’s production capabilities, and enhancing external partnerships in providing high-quality aircraft MRO.
Marat Tereschenko has over 30 years of experience in civil aviation. He began his career as an from aviation mechanic at the flight test station of the Tashkent Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalova and later became the CEO of «LLC S7 engineering». He possesses deep expertise and practical skills in aircraft MRO, both domestic and foreign. As CEO, he successfully led one of the largest aircraft MRO enterprises in Russia.
In 2022, he was invited to PJSC «Aeroflot» on position as adviser to the airline’s technical director. He organized the necessary certification for the new department responsible for engineering solutions, which allowed the company to address emerging operational challenges and ensure the required high fleet reliability.
As one of the most qualified domestic experts in international aviation legislation, he organized the preparation and publication of numerous initiatives, including legislative ones, to enhance safety and improve the efficiency of air transport.
