More than 33 metric tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to Myanmar by an Il-76 transport aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies, the ministry’s press service told TASS.
"Rescuers of the Russian emergency agency handed over more than 33 metric tons of humanitarian aid for the population of Myanmar affected by the strongest cyclone in this September," the press service said.
The special flight delivered medicinal products, tents, generators, sleeping bags, and a mobile power plant.
