Rossiya (Aeroflot Group) will resume the flight schedule between Moscow and Havana. Flights are planned once a week on Sundays starting from October 13.
The direct air service from Aeroflot Group between the capitals of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Cuba, suspended during the pandemic, began in December 2023. At that time, the Rossiya route was launched for the first time. The regular Moscow-Havana flights strengthen bilateral ties, and increase mutual tourist passenger flows, and cultural and business trips for citizens of the friendly states.
Passengers on Moscow-Havana flights can continue their journey around the island after exploring the Cuban capital, reach the most famous resort, and then choose a direct Rossiya flight from Varadero to Moscow (the frequency is twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, flights and will also start on Thursdays from October 3).
According to the schedule, flights are operated on Wednesdays and Sundays. Due to increased demand, an additional flight on the route is planned for Saturday, December 30.
- SU/FV6849 will depart from Moscow at 23:45, and arrive at 06:10.
- SU/FV6850 will depart from Havana at 09:10, and arrive at 04:30 the next day.

On flights from Moscow to Cuba, passengers in Economy class are offered the Sleep+ service. This is an opportunity to rest well during a long flight. As part of the service, travelers have access to a block in a row of 3 seats by the window or a central block of 4 seats, a sleep kit (two pillows, a blanket, a mattress, and a sheet) and a business class travel kit with an extended set of comfort items (mask and earplugs for peaceful sleep, hand cream and lip balm, a comb and toothbrush, soft slippers, a shoehorn and a shoe sponge) are provided. The Sleep+ service can be arranged directly at the check-in stage at Sheremetyevo Airport.
Rossiya operates wide-body long-haul Boeing 777ER aircraft on the route. The total number of seats on board is 457 (436 in Economy class and 21 in Business).
