Pulkovo plans to use AI in information security

Russian Aviaton » Thursday October 3, 2024 13:47 MSK

The Pulkovo airport operator will test Russian technologies for data protection using artificial intelligence. This was announced by the head of the airport operator's information security department, Sergey Savchenko, at the  Sakhalin Tech Security 2024  and  Positive Tech Day conferences.

Data protection is one of the priorities of Pulkovo Airport. To improve information security, the introduction of advanced technologies is constantly required.

“Artificial intelligence automates information protection, promptly responds to and prevents threats, and tracks all chains of potential attack sources, increasing the efficiency of cybersecurity systems,”  said Sergey Savchenko, Head of the Information Security Department at Northern Capital Gateway.

It is important to have action plans in place for incidents: from identifying and analyzing threats to eliminating their consequences. By adapting AI to constant changes, cyber defense systems are able to withstand modern attacks and are most effective.
