Aeroflot will transport ski and water sports equipment free of charge

 Aeroflot to provide passengers with an additional free baggage item to carry sports equipment as part of its traditional annual campaign. As part of the promotion, passengers can carry one set of ski equipment or equipment for surfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, paddleboarding, or diving with a total weight of up to 23 kg.

The promotion is valid for flights until 15 May 2025, with tickets purchased between 25 October 2024 and 15 May 2025, on Aeroflot-operated flights, as well as flights operated by Rossiya Airlines and Aurora Airlines under the SU code, excluding SU3000–5399 flights and flights to/from Havana and Varadero. Free carriage of equipment is available for all fare tickets except Lite and Shuttle groups.

When issuing a ticket of Lite or Shuttle group, members of Aeroflot Bonus loyalty programme of elite levels are entitled to free carriage of their equipment without payment only within the additional seats provided in accordance with the membership level.

A set of skiing/snowboarding equipment is a case containing one pair of skis and one pair of poles, and/or one pair of ski shoes, packed separately or a case containing one snowboard and/or one pair of snowboarding shoes, packed separately.

A set of surfing (or kitesurfing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP)) equipment may include up to two boards, up to three sets of fins for the board, one pair of bindings, one wetsuit, up to two pairs of water shoes/boots and other accessories including a paddle for SUP with a total weight of up to 5 kg.

The windsurfing equipment also includes a sail and a mast in a case (the case counts towards the equipment total weight).

A set of diving equipment may include one buoyancy compensator, one wetsuit, one helmet, one pair of gloves, one pair of boots and fins, pressure gauge, regulator (octopus), snorkel and other accessories weighing up to 5 kg.

An additional piece of baggage for free carriage of sports equipment is not included when calculating excess baggage charges, is not specified on the ticket, and is provided subject to available baggage capacity in accordance with the general rules for advance booking of excess and oversized baggage.
