Uzbek airline Centrum Air opens flights from Pulkovo Airport for the first time

From July 24, the carrier will operate direct flights from St. Petersburg to Urgench (Uzbekistan). Flights are scheduled once a week on Mondays.

Departure from Urgench airport is scheduled at 08:00, arrival at Pulkovo airport at 11:05. Departure from St. Petersburg - at 12:20, arrival in Urgench - at 18:50. Times are local for each airport. Flights are carried out on Airbus A320 aircraft.

Centrum Air operates regular and charter flights to domestic (Bukhara, Urgench and Termez) and international destinations (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Georgia, Maldives, Kyrgyzstan and India). The carrier's base airport is Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

The cities of Uzbekistan are among the most popular international destinations. The growth in passenger traffic in the directions of Uzbekistan for six months of 2023 amounted to 34% compared to the same period last year.

In addition to Urgench, you can fly from Pulkovo to Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand, Termez and Fergana. In total, 26 flights per week are operated to the cities of Uzbekistan.

Earlier, Pulkovo Airport reported the second place in terms of traffic among Russian airports. According to the results of June, the growth of passenger traffic on international flights amounted to 71% compared to the previous year.
