Russian airlines may increase the number of passengers carried to 101.2 mln people in 2023, which is 6.5% higher than in 2022, Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev said at the final collegium of the ministry on Friday.
"The plan is to carry 101.2 mln passengers by air (in 2023 - TASS)," he said.
According to the minister’s presentation, at least 4 mln passengers are planned to be carried under subsidy programs.
In 2022, 95.2 mln passengers were carried, which is less than in 2021, Savelyev noted.
