Denis Manturov: serial deliveries of SSJ New to Russian airlines are planned for 2024

Serial deliveries of import-substituted domestic SSJ New aircraft to Russian airlines are scheduled for 2024, while the first deliveries will begin at the end of this year, said Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. This is reported by Prime.

"We expect that by the end of the year we will deliver the first SSJ to our airlines, from next year it will be delivered in serial volume under contracts to our airlines," he said.

Manturov also said that the Russian SSJ 100 now fly for 11 hours a day. "This is a record not only for the SSJ itself, but it is in comparison with its analogues or competitors, including Airbus and Boeing. That is, these are flight hours that are being worked out by other passenger planes that have been flying for a long time," he added.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister - the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade recalled that at the end of 2024 it is planned to complete the work on certification and localization of the Russian MC-21 aircraft. The start of its serial deliveries is planned from 2025.
